Sound quality seems decent. We haven't yet figured out how to increase/decrease volume, pause/play video, or do other things with touch controls (there are instructions, but we just can't do it yet - maybe we're not doing it right - we're not techies). I think sometimes it doesn't reconnect automatically. Overall, though, it's pretty decent. The charging case has a small elastic strap that you can use to hold it, especially when you take it outside or carry a few things around. The shape is nice too.
