I bought this a few years ago because I was tired of connecting my camera to a computer that required battery power and I was tired of my mum's card reader to use photo printer by -for the inconvenience of not having it on my own computer. It worked fine on Windows 2000 and works fine on Windows XP. I have absolutely no problems with it and it does exactly what it is supposed to. It reads images quickly and is easy to use. The USB cable is the perfect length and fits comfortably anywhere on my desk while I'm uploading pictures. I recommend this if you like taking photos and uploading them easily. I use Photoshop to open all the photos I need. I load from folders within the map, edit and save from there. You can do this through any program or just move them from folders on the card to a folder on your hard drive if you don't like editing. it's also purple. who does not want that?
