The price was economical too. I belong to the polymer clay guild and used it for a tutorial on decorating polymer clay with alcohol ink. I rolled out a small sheet of white clay thinly with a pasta machine and decorated it with this applicator before baking. I attached one of the felt rectangles that came with the applicator to the applicator by simply pressing down on the velcro. I applied a few drops of each of the multiple matching ink colors to the swab in random order, then ran the applicator over the clay. Then I let the block dry a bit, added a few drops of gold ink and dabbed it over the drawing. The handle is smooth and very easy to grab and hold firmly. The pattern is beautiful. I dried the ink on unfired clay under a fan and then cut inch long flat oval beads with polymer clay cookie cutters and used a needle to poke holes in each bead at the top for the jump ring. I bake the beads until hard, add, bend rings, paint them with icing, dry them and then thread them on a chain with other beads to make a beautiful necklace. I then removed the felt to dry and possibly reuse. The applicator came with a bunch of felt pieces, and I bought a bag of extra felt pieces. I am very satisfied with this applicator and its parts.
