I ordered this based on a picture that matched the look of my old Fluval 405 Aquastop valve which had weakened over the years and finally broke after 13 years went. years of service. Contrary to the picture, the one that arrived was black and red and the upper arm was a slightly different shape and seemed more durable. I was a bit apprehensive at first, but it was a direct and easy exchange. I didn't even have to move anything. I simply extended the aquastop end of the hose over the top of the tank so the water wouldn't pump out once I removed the old valve and then put it back right there so any drips just went back into the tank. Overall maybe a 5 minute spare if you have decent access to everything.
