Disappointed, overpriced junk

I bought these because I wanted a pair of waterproof sneakers. A few years ago they were very waterproof and held up well to the abuse I put the shoes through. I've tried a few cheaper options and wasn't happy so went back to The North Face brand only to find that they had become overpriced junk too. This hole on the inside of the shoe is where my toe flexes as I walk and also where the fabric meets the predator's toe. This crack started after just a few weeks of use. In addition, the shoes are no longer waterproof. It happened on both feet, so neither shoe caught on a rock or anything. Also, the soles don't stick now and I haven't owned them for 2 months. $150 for a month of use before they break I don't think so. I will go back to a cheaper brand I can get in 4 to 6 months and buy 2 pairs for the price I paid for these north faces. So sad, it used to be a solid brand and now it didn't have good value. Disappointed customer.
