Disappointment in headphones

The only reason I bought these headphones was because they were recommended as one of the best for use with Samsung TVs. And since AKG is a Samsung company, that's to be expected. My old Best Buy branded headphones worked great with my Samsung TV and connected to Bluetooth automatically, unlike a pair of Sony Bluetooth headphones. They had good range and battery life, and cost just over $50. So why would I buy headphones that cost almost $200?!? I don't know what happened, but eventually the old headphones became uncomfortable to wear and started digging into my skull. I bought the N7000 hoping that this would be my last investment and out of faith in Samsung products (I also have a Galaxy) and they would be comfortable to wear without seeing my eyes. They came in a nice box and had some basic cables and accessories. I don't need any of these other than a charging cable as again I only need to use them with my TV. The earbuds were a bit tight but were noticeably more comfortable than my previous ones. They're also clearly made from higher-quality materials than regular budget headphones. The other big difference was that I had to ditch the micro-USB cable and instead use the included USB-C cable to charge the headphones. I know USB-C from my Galaxy, but that already limits my charging options. It fully charged in about 3 or 4 hours and paired seamlessly and automatically with my Samsung TV. The noise-cancelling feature was fine, although I'm not a music lover to comment and it wasn't my main reason for using the headphones. However, the sound quality was better than acceptable, even good. I was able to use the headphones for about 3 days before needing to recharge them, but here's the problem. My other USB-C charger (the one I use with my Galaxy and has a much longer charging cable) is not compatible with the headphones at all. I had to use the shorter cable that came with it. So instead of charging my headphones right next to the TV, I have to charge my headphones in a completely different part of the house and wear my headphones between the two locations. A small inconvenience but at a cost that shouldn't have been necessary. Update: I ended up having to go back to my cheap $50 headphones from those $200 headphones. I'll probably keep them if I ever buy a new Samsung TV that might have a better Bluetooth signal available. But after weeks of use, I found that these expensive headphones kept losing the Bluetooth signal and had to be annoyingly reset and reconnected very often, even when I was sitting right in front of the TV (6ft away). I appreciate being able to hear my own audio over the supposed sound quality and noise canceling features. My cheap headphones could do better with supporting the signal at close or far ranges (20-30 feet so I could hear my TV even walking through different rooms), and I'm disappointed that these expensive headphones couldn't auto-scan for clear ones Frequencies or repair a weak or noisy connection. There were no firmware updates or support from AKG.
