Review on APDTY 5535121AB Intermediate Steering Shaft: Enhancing Steering Precision and Safety! by Daniel Drury

The original steering shaft on my 1997 2WD Dakota slapped and gave me a lot of free play so I decided to buy this replacement. The original rod proved quite difficult to remove, but I finally got it after about an hour of punching and sleuthing. The replacement shaft fits perfectly with the steering column and gearbox. This stock was definitely designed to be more durable than the original stock. My only issue after installing the shaft was that the front tires were no longer aligned with the steering wheel, so I'm planning on readjusting. I'm a DIYer and used the Haynes guide to walk me through the process. Took me about 3 hours from start to finish.
