My one and a half year old chinchilla likes it a lot. It looks like she has started eating them from breeders and I slowly mixed this into her original food until within two months she was like this when I first brought her home (the best way to help them transition to a new food). She eats well and seems to enjoy it, rarely leaving many pellets behind when it's time to replenish. I feed her about 2-3 ounces every 24 hours and discard what is left over during that time. The Β£10 bag lasted them about eight months (it was just a lot cheaper to buy a Β£10 bag than a Β£5 bag most of the time). Chinchillas can be very picky and will only take half of a given granule and discard it while snatching up another. . They should also be fed pellets rather than mixtures of fruits, nuts etc as they are finicky and very much like toddlers they will just eat 'good foods' and ignore healthy pellets. Use "good things" for the occasional treat. Also remember to give plenty of timothy grass hay in addition to the pellet feed.
