PPE- DO NOT BUY THIS TOP PLATE! After several days of research and converting this stove to propane, I was adamant that I was doing it right. (Hours of phone calls to Gasland Chef customer service, online forums, YouTube videos and having all my hoses, adapters and fittings handed over to a local technician who tested and verified their functionality). Screws are set most restrictively and controls are in the "SMALL Flame" position") A powerful jet of propane escaped, ignited, and the flame shot out of my hands into the grips, and the grips themselves caught fire. Researching further we found several forums saying they had the same issue and that it was a factory defect that couldn't be fixed. It almost exploded in the van, almost injuring me and/or burning down everything I've built in the last 3 months. I can't stress enough. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.
