This is definitely a fast charger and with a family of six and multiple devices per person we liked the extension for the rear seats. With every device connected, the charging process slowed down. With five devices, it definitely still charged all five, but none of them were "fast charging" anymore. We agreed. We just wanted to keep our devices charged so our phone cameras would run all day while we photographed the badlands and other locations where we would often get out of the car to take photos for long periods of time, and then we added to the charge batteries between the stops.
