Bought to convert my favorite childhood cassette to MP3. The results were catastrophic. I spent hours trying to get the software to recognize this device. I even asked my IT husband to help me troubleshoot. Still no luck. It picks up sounds for a few seconds and then turns off completely. I also experienced the high caliber reviews that other reviewers have mentioned. The software didn't seem to be the problem. This device is obviously poorly made. When I tried it the tape didn't rewind at all so I had to fast forward to the end and then rewind to get to the beginning of the tape. After all, He just ate my tape. What junk. Too bad I never used it.
