Now that I've had the chance to charge the device, I went back to edit my review. There are no instructions in the packaging. It's not necessarily a big deal: the device has a button, and holding it down turns on the fan. releasing it disables it. It really couldn't be easier to use. However, the online manual suggests that the device should be charged for 10 hours before use, and a link to that suggestion should be included in the box. There is an LED on the wall mount that glows green when the device is charging and red when it's charging. It took just under five hours for the indicator to turn green on the first charge. The lobe is definitely moving air. The manufacturer claims a flight speed of 200 miles per hour; Air exiting the nozzle with or without a focusing straw doesn't feel like it's moving at that speed. Compared to a chemical air atomizer, the chemical product seems to be more powerful. The chemical rag nozzle is also much smaller to fit in the fins of small heatsinks. However, the ability to operate an electric rag for a long time without filling the room with chemical fumes and bitter substances is a definite plus. Although there is a high-pitched whistle when it's running - it reminds me of a handheld vacuum - I'm happy with this purchase so far.
