This stylish product has adequate compression but in terms of overall comfort I'm average. I also have complaints that the thumb area is a bit uncomfortable. I specifically have it in the area between my thumb and forefinger. He presses too hard on the membrane near the thumb. I'm not sure if this is actually called a web, but I think people will understand what I'm talking about. I ordered an average measurement based on the measurement picture. This is the ideal size, so ordering a larger size for a larger thumb area probably won't work without losing compression. I can pull them up so they cover the ankles a little more and the area between the thumbs isn't so uncomfortable I'll try that a few times. I'm also not used to having something between my thumb and forefinger. It just arrived so this is my first impression.
