I really like the size and weight of this item. I use it in my pond and it's much better than the pond use ones as it's heavy enough to easily fall to the bottom and even if a big koi is playing with it it stays upright on the bottom. (The ones made for the pond are 1/3 the size and are made of plastic which floats and can be easily moved by big fish. However, mine only pushes air out of one side and not much. Tried to take a photo/video but underneath it is impossible with water. I removed it several times, checked the tightness of the hose, even rubbed it, thinking that something on the stone was blocking the air outlet. But it's not there. I have blisters, for example , from 1 :00 to 4:00 if it were a clock and only in an area about 1-2" wide not even in the middle. I think they miss the boat by not advertising this for ponds, This is the perfect size/weight but of course they have to provide the right airflow.
