There were a lot of small parts and dust in the bag. They pair very well with the white stones I also bought, but they required a lot of rinsing and picking out the non-soft, rounded pieces that I was dying to have in the tank.

I have built small piles of these rocks and aquarium glue that I use in my aquariums and also give them away to people who love them and I even see classmates and teachers keep them. On the table while taking a test or studying. maybe they are lucky!

I don't know what it is or how safe it is but there is something black on these stones. I've cooked it twice and still a small amount of film comes off leaving a black coating on the pan and hands. I'm nervous about using them for my tank until I know they're 100% clean and not easy to clean.

real honest review, not paid by anyone! This is a great choice if you're looking for something more. However, not too big to cause problems with small fish getting stuck. Ideal for outdoor or indoor home decoration. Would definitely buy again, easy to use and clean!

The bag was wide open in the box. The box was not sealed well and half or more of the wrapping was missing from the sides of the box. My front walkway and porch had a trail of rocks from the crate. You can see bricks from Tony's haulier house, everywhere in the warehouse, trucks, planes. Rschunimagu. If they close the bag, it's probably a good product. Receive a small amount. The rocks are definitely covered in some greasy paint and smell of oil. I screwed up the pan trying to cook it as some people have suggested. The color does not come out of my pot. If they told me they were painted I wouldn't order them. Just thought they might be coated with something used for polishing rather than painting. They are good for handicrafts, but not for the aquarium. You can see that underneath the black is brown. They're just painted stones.
