Review on Pet Products Lectro Temp Control by Dawn Edwards

After getting readings that fluctuated over 10 degrees with a tested/stable thermometer I decided to toss this thermostat aside. It's a shame I threw away the packaging. I specifically bought a Lectro-Kennel Heat Pad to go with it. And to be honest, I'm getting temp readings from 102 to 107.8 with the pad alone (which should warm up to a stable 102 degrees by default). With the thermostat, I did NOT see a consistent pattern even with the temperature whether it was all the way OR all the way up! So whether it's a gasket or a thermostat, or both. They do not heat up to the temperatures indicated on the packaging. My hedgehog seems fine with the pad temp readings (with synthetic sheepskin over it) - otherwise the whole kit and Kabud would be a waste of time and money.
