Just purchased and I have used this twice (already) to keep me from getting burned from the sun in the hot Texas sun using a golf push cart.The umbrella opens and closes easily and seems fine in that respect.here is what you need to know about this umbrella if used in an umbrellas holder on a golf push cart. The cushion hande is soft on this umbrella and although comfortable in your hand, the cushion does not do well in the two different golf umbrella holders in my household.the best handle for an umbrella on a push cart (at least in the ones I have experienced) would be a solid hard handle.Hard to explain but with the two different brand golf push carts in my house, this soft handle will not last very long.Update 8/06/2021 - If you decide to use this umbrella in a push cart, here is what I would suggest you do which will make this umbrella work just fine in the umbrella holders push cart. Purchase a 1" & 1/4" plumber pvc pipe (PVC-1120) and cut it to approx 5.5" length. Then slip this over the umbrella handle which will fit snug.this is working for us with the two golf carts that we have.
