I have a 2013 VW Golf TDI and have decided to replace all my headlights with LEDs. I bought error free canbus leds; However, not all were flawless as assumed, so I had to purchase this product. Installation was pretty easy and simple. I ran the car for about 10 minutes with the fog lights on to see how hot the decoder got, it reached temperature. about 150*F, which isn't as bad as resistance temp. But I didn't want to risk that, so I mounted the box on metal instead of plastic. They removed the lamp off code for me immediately. The only reason I left a 4 star review instead of 5 is because my LEDs are still blinking 3 times when I turn the car over due to a cold bulb diagnostic test. I thought a capacitor and resistor inside would fix this, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Other than that I'm very happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend them to anyone having trouble with the LEDs giving a bulb burnout code on the dash.
