Everything seemed fine at first, but when I went back to the machine that hadn't been used over the weekend or something, I noticed the camera was trying to boot only to turn off. I think it's the low voltage auto off, but it doesn't quite work. It seemed to get stuck in a loop as if the circuitry was working but the camera was still trying to restart, after which the circuitry shut down again only for the camera to try to boot again, which is allowed. He did it all the time. After a weekend of not using the car (on Covid days) I noticed that my first start was very "jerky" and didn't have enough amperage. Two weeks later and today my car battery was too empty to start. There is a circuit, but it may not work with all cameras and won't stay off long enough to not keep draining with sustained gear.
