I've been a long-time OnePlus fan so it took me a long time to jump on the OnePlus bandwagon. When I first saw this phone I was intrigued by the price and the perceived performance. Now that I've had a bit of it, I figured it fits the hype. The camera is decent, not the best, but absolutely on OnePlus level in my opinion. The only downside so far is the under-screen fingerprint scanner, unfortunately it hit or miss. Let's hope this gets better with the update, and overall let's hope TCL releases some OS updates in the future! When it ends up as an Android 11 phone and it's done, it will probably be my first and last TCL phone. Pro tip: The TCL 10 Pro has the same screen size and shape as the Huawei P30 Pro. Since there are no screen protectors available for the 10 Pro, you can use the P30 Pro screen protector interchangeably. I tried and the game paid off. Tip #2: Register your fingerprint more than once! To fix the fingerprint scanner error, I decided to re-enroll my fingers. I saw on the internet that if you want to enroll two fingers (e.g. both thumbs) when you go to enrollment, when setting up the first fingerprint both fingers alternate. This allows you to effectively get two fingers with one fingerprint enrollment. After that, set up two more fingerprints using the same fingers you originally used and try your fingers at different angles so he can capture them as a new fingerprint. When all is said and done you will have enrolled 2 fingers up to 5 times giving your phone a better chance of reading your fingers correctly. I did that and with 3 profiles my fingerprint scanner is now working fine.
