Review on 👶 VTech VM312-2 Video Baby Monitor: 1000 ft Range, Night Vision, Talk-Back Intercom, 2 Cameras - White/Grey by Lisa Kattestad

Works great! I was afraid of negative reviews but so far I like them. I literally used the first baby monitor ever, it came in a giant miniature box with a TV as the receiver so I have nothing to compare it to. This is an upgrade for me! Ha ha. Now bear with me as I am a sleep deprived mom of 3, 3 and younger. I'll try to explain what I don't particularly like about this product, although prior knowledge wouldn't stop me from buying it. The camera is already slightly zoomed in to its normal settings. I have low ceilings (an old farmhouse) so I can't see the whole crib when it's attached to the ceiling like my old monitor. It scares me sometimes because sometimes my son likes to crouch on the edge of the crib where I can't see him and it doesn't appear like he's in his bed. Second, I would like to see energy saving. mode, like the ability to turn it off, but when it picks up sound it turns back on. Also, the volume button is on the front, I would like it to be on the side like many other types of devices (phones etc). here. I LOVE the feedback feature. My 3 year old calls it our phone. Ha ha. The video quality is good in my opinion, again I'm used to a super crappy grainy black and white camera. The color is fun (although I don't think it's necessary) and the night vision is great! I'm a happy buyer! I bought it on the best day for about $75. I don't think the price can be beat. I only wish Revain would come with additional cameras for this device. I plan to buy another one at Walmart or somewhere else so I have one for each crib so I can enjoy a nice fire with my husband and not have to listen to a crying baby. :) Updated 03/2017: This thing lost 2 stars from me :( I was going to love it but I'm so upset! To see the whole crib you must have blankets that are about 11ft high. My baby moves around 11 months now (newborn babies don't usually move much) and I can never see it. Sometimes with my foot. What's the use of a video monitor if you can't see the baby? Also this battery isn't working. Doesn't stay charged anymore, so it has to be connected to the network or it beeps all the time.. wish i just bought a good monitor i will spend some more money.
