Because the side pockets are V-shaped and very narrow at the bottom, they hold almost nothing and anything put in these pockets can easily fall out. The fabric feels thin and some of the stitching around the zippers looks a bit messy. The backpack straps are very thin, so I don't find a loaded bag comfortable to carry as a backpack. This bag does not meet the design and quality standards of other Baggallini products I have owned. It's ok as an additional pocket for your trouser pocket, but I don't think it's particularly valuable for this price.
