Use toothbrush to maintain balayage

After my recent $300 salon trip for balayage, I realized there had to be an easier way to get my sun-kissed wavy look at the beach. First, DO NOT leave this substance on your hair; After application, rinse off with a blow dryer and/or hot tools. It ruins my hair the first time I do it like this. Also, spraying doesn't give you much precision when you want to lighten or lighten specific areas. I used a toothbrush, dipped it in the bottle and applied the color to lighten the blonde and keep the balayage effect, making small strokes on top and then saturating the ends even more. I then dried and ironed flat, then washed my hair, conditioned it thoroughly and left it in conditioner. I'll probably repeat this process when copper tones appear or when I want to go lighter. I don't think I will ever go to the salon again!
