Last year we installed two of these devices in our new home. We just added five more which gives us plenty of grab bars in all bathrooms. It's important to put them in something solid. Unless your bathroom was built with support boards due to the plan to install railings from the start, you will need to carefully place them to fit the studs. Don't just use molybdenum screws in drywall as they don't support enough weight. My goal is not to fall at any cost! The benefit of this size is that standard wall studs are spaced 16 inches apart so they fit perfectly. They are easy to keep clean, there are no gaps for dirt to accumulate. I can't say I'm crazy about the colour, they look kind of industrial but on the other hand they look and feel strong and confident and it's good to feel confident in your gear, especially when you need them because you can. don't trust your feet!
