This beanie is well made and is definitely the slouchy style as shown in the picture. I have a small head and it still fits great and gives the look I was going for. Not sure why people said it wasn't slouchy, maybe their heads are bigger than mine but I can't see how that would even make a difference with this hat. I'm very pleased. The material is a heavier knit and very soft.
