Winter Fashion Essential: Surblue Unisex Chunky Cable Knit Slouchy Beanie Hat Review

This hat isn't as full as it appears on line. The ribbed front is not as deep it appears. Unless it relaxes over time, the body of the hat is no where near as full as it appears. I liked it because of how full it was. I was going to order other colors but I think that I will wait on that.

The yarn is not very soft, so it doesn't drape well it just stays straight up on your head instead of falling to the back as shown in the picture

Good color and very warm. The top where the seams join is a bit bulkier than expected, so that the back of the hat sticks out a bit rather than flopping backward, but it does the trick in wet/snowy weather, and the red is a gorgeous color.

I bought this for my wife as she has just moved up to the states from the Caribbean and is always freezing cold as she she has not acclimated to weather under 80 degrees. She loves it and wears it often.

The quality of this product is INCONSISTENT. I've ordered twice before, in a different color. The first one I received was tiny, and not at all slouchy. The second time it was absolutely perfect, just as advertised. This time it was weirdly long and misshaped. Sad, because it's a cozy hat otherwise.

quality of hat is very good. Nice cable design. However, it does not fit on the head the way the picture shows. The width of the excess part of the hat is very narrow so it sticks up verses flopping evenly on the sides. I had to return the hat as daughter wanted a slouchy hat.

If I would have known that this hat will be as warm and comfy as it is I would have purchased more colors. I was very pleasantly surprised.

So far I have this hat in black and in gray.and I NEED IT IN ALL THE COLORS. I'm not a hat person usually but this is the perfect slouchy hat for my head (I have thick hair and a big head 😂)! The best part- this hat just gets more cozy and breaks in with time. I've had the gray longer and it's that "perfect pair of jeans" hat almost 2 years later. Just got the black!

I have been wearing this beanie almost everyday since I purchased it! I always have trouble finding oversized beanies since store ones are too small for my head (always leave a mark on my forehead and squeeze my hair too much). This looks so cute!

Doesn't lay right on my head like the picture. It stands straight up and doesn't flop down like it should. Can't wear it out. Should it be laundered to soften it up?

I was pretty happy with it when I got, but the it started to spread. It hasn't spread to much, so it isn't that bad, but hopefully, it doesn't rip anymore, but other than that the hat was great.

It is a nice warm hat. The color is true to the image. Deep red wine. However, it doesn't quuuuiiitttee slouch the way the image shows. The hat also appears to be thicker than the material shown in the image.

Love the cable knit and color! However the beanie fit very tight, like all newly knitted items do, but I wish it mentioned the beanie may need to be stretched to get the size you want somewhere within the description. Luckily I have someone with my household that knits so they helped get my beanie to the size I want. We had to hand wash, stretch, and pin the beanie down to a foam board to achieve ideal size. I searched for a slouchy hat for a while and bought this. As other reviewers have mentioned, it's not as slouchy as it looks in the product pictures showing how it sits on the mannequin faces. I do have a wide face (hence my quest for finding a slouchy hat), but not that many people have the face size of a mannequin. OK hat. Was replacing a lost CC hat that wasn't very slouchy. By contrast, this is quite slouchy, but the stretches out so much with wearing that it needs to be washed weekly to regain enough shape to stay on.

The Oversized Chunky Cable Knit Slouchy Beanie was not as oversized or as lose fitting (slouchy) as I expected or wanted it to be. It is somewhat too small for it to be slouchy. I was looking for a different look but got a regular beanie look.

When I first put this on it seem to be oversized and comfortable as advertised however something in the material seemed to shrink as I had it on and it became Tighter and Tighter around my head. I started pulling onto material thinking that it was just new and needed to be loosened up and the seam quickly ripped without much effort. I would have returned it if the same hadn't tripped just out of the package.
