I have always suffered from insomnia and am a very sensitive person. let's just stop! I immediately noticed a positive effect, which is still there since I ordered it in November 2019. I fall asleep faster. I think I've been extremely vigilant even at the best of times, and last year wasn't the best for a lot of us. I twist the top and bottom ends and also change it from side to side and hold it by hand from time to time to rearrange the beads when I change the bed lines. There is nothing wrong with the duvet itself, but how to tie the washable cover is another matter. I've never used any other brand of weighted blanket, so I don't know if that's the standard or not. Nonetheless, I still give it 5 stars. The price-performance ratio is also excellent. However, the case could have been made much better. I bought two of these, but I'll review them separately when I get a chance. You will likely need a washable cover, especially if you have a cat and a Yorkie that only needs to sleep with you. 15 pound blanket in my car! But if you could somehow use it without a case, the material itself is nice and soft almost a year later. I love this thing and now hate sleeping without it. It doesn't add any of the heat I've noticed and it just calms my hyperactive, restless personality better than I could have ever predicted.
