This product works! We have a longer than usual metal hose from the dryer to the outside of the house. Although I cleaned the outer hole, the real problem was between the dryer and the hole. I ran the extension cord and my wife ran the drill. We turned on the dryer to blow out the lint. I'm ashamed to say how many villi came out. Clothes definitely dry much faster and it's probably safer to remove the lint. In our situation, it is recommended to do a cleaning every 2 years or every year if possible. It's really a breeze for 2 people, one to aim and the other to use the variable speed drill.
