April 15, 2020 Geeni app is user friendly (see UPDATE below). I just followed the instructions and in no time the app "learned" the light. I have learned not to assign a room to each lamp in the Geeni app. This is not necessary and will "confuse" the interface between the Greenie app and Google Home. I decided it's better to leave the light without assigning a room in the Geenie app and only assign a room in the Google Home app. When this light is in white light mode, it is very bright. When representing colors, the lumens are not as bright as white light. I'm assuming the color mode light is intended for "mood" lighting, not bright task or flood lighting. But in simple mode, it's amazing. I like the fact that no hub or interface is needed. These lights are controlled over Wi-Fi. There's also no Bluetooth. When first turned on, the flashlight will flash quickly, indicating it's ready to be "learned" by the Geenie app. From now on, simply follow the app's instructions. I installed these EnviroLite #EVR6LICRAT canned bulbs purchased from Home Depot. April 22, 2020 - UPDATE. I have tried. Despite our best efforts, the interface between the Geeni app and Google Home only worked 50% of the time. I've gone so far as to factory reset everything and then set everything up again. It just wasn't consistent. I gave up. The return has begun.
