2-Day Disintegration Boots

My preschooler goes to an outdoor school. She had outgrown her old boots and needed a cheap pair to get through the last 6 weeks of the school year. After the first day or two of wearing these boots I noticed that the heel counter started to crack. They are no longer waterproof. After a total of 7 wears, the back was completely open. Boots fall apart. The soles look like they have been worn for a year. They have not withstood normal wear and tear. I wouldn't waste my money. I emailed the manufacturer, Western Chief directly, hoping they would resolve the quality issues. They dodged responsibility and recommended I contact Revain for a refund. Revain provided excellent customer service, but Western Chief refused to fix the design flaws and take responsibility for their product. you have been warned Stay away from these boots.
