My Febco 3/4 Counterflow leaked a bit last winter due to severe freezes. I actually paid the plumber $120 to fix it. It took him two weeks to get the part and a few weeks later it started leaking again. boo! Instead of trying a plumber again, I decided to fix it myself. There are several videos online showing how to install one of these and I've watched a few. As it turned out, the repair actually took less time than watching the video, it wasn't difficult. If you can handle a pair of pliers and some simple instructions, you can do it. So far so good, the leak is actually gone.
