I'm an avid user of Meacom products, using my auto-catcher every day. My old one was about a year or two old, but it still worked when I decided to make the upgrade to the 2022 model.I purchased it because the 2022 model claims to be faster, smaller, and have a better connection than its predecessor.Pros: Yes, the 2022 model is a bit smaller, the battery port is in a better spot and the batteries don't fall out as much. The on/off switch is in a better spot as well and doesn't accidentally switch off when it's in your pocket. The setup was easy, I do like the vocal menu option.Cons: There is no improvement in the connection between this model and the previous one. Actually, it seems worse. I am having to reconnect a lot more with the new model. I can't tell a difference in speed, but the connection is the breaking point for me.Overall: It's more expensive for something a bit smaller with a better battery and switch placement. I am not satisfied at all with the experience. The old model works fine, if not better with the connection issues of the 2022 model. I am switching back.
