It was a great deal I got for this lens, it was perfect in every way, the supplier is excellent, the lens takes fantastic photos, even the night shot of the moon is amazing, you can see every crater on it the surface in perfect light and shadow. I already had one of these lenses but needed another to complement my other cameras. I have used Minolta for many years long before it was digital, loved them when they only ran on 35mm film and still use film for certain photos, sometimes you just can't help but go back to your photographic roots. Sorry if I'm going off topic, Sony was an effective merger with Konica Minolta. I use several models and love them all. So if you have a Sony A-series DSLR, buy this lens and if you can find the same one, branded Minolta and just rebranded and sold as used, you'll save a lot of money and the lens is perfect .
