Although this was intended for a moving car, I researched other tablet mounts that can be placed under the cabinet. Most of them got bad reviews as they didn't hold the expected position and even dropped the tablet. Well I can definitely say that no one will ever experience this mount. It is very durable and moves easily in and out of the mount. The bracket can be hidden a bit under the bodywork, but it's still noticeable. If that broke the deal for you, then it might not be ideal. It works fine for us. We can even set it up so that the tablet is hidden very close to the back wall and is therefore not exposed to splashes. I recommend this mount.
