I have these Belgian waffle irons and they work well, but sometimes, depending on the batter and the ingredients mixed with it, the traditional waffle format is easier to work with and cooks to a better consistency/cooking. This is a traditional waffle maker, cooks evenly and couldn't be simpler. Cleaning is easy, all you have to do is wipe it down with a little vegetable oil, and the non-stick surface makes separating and cleaning waffles an easy process. It's durable and made of quality materials, seems very heavy, I hope to get lots of reliable use of it!
