Review on Next Gen Speed Steering Protector Sticker by Jason Ampongan

Looks great but the glue doesn't hold.

I've bought a lot of Next-Gen Speed carbon fiber products. Carbon fiber trims on lower steering wheel, shifter, door handle trim, power window trim and radio. Some of these pieces have some sticking issues, but this piece doesn't stick at all. I wiped the area with an alcohol wipe, heated the glue and held it in place for a VERY long time. All in vain, moments after the pressure has subsided, both sides emerge and disengage. The item itself looks great, but to me it's useless and a waste of $15. I wish they contained some sort of adhesion promoter as I think it would increase stability. As it stands I'm canceling my plans to buy door panels from them due to the higher price and uncertainty about their ability to adhere to the panel. I do not recommend this case. Stay away.
