I don't normally review any of my purchases, but this humidifier has become the bane of my existence. This was the worst moisturizer ever. To fill the tank with water you must first remove the tank and fill from the bottom and close the top cap. It is in order. But when you put it in the carrier, you have to turn it upside down and put it there. Immediately, water will spurt out and splatter everywhere. This cannot be prevented as long as water gets on the floor and electrical mechanisms. Once this fiasco is over and you've turned it on, you should find an ideal spot to place it. The device switches off if it is not in the ideal position. That's why you have to mess with him until he's satisfied and finally works for you. After you think it's over, after about a minute or two, the light will turn red and go out. You then have to fiddle with it and adjust for another 5 minutes until you're sure it's in the right position for optimal nebulization. It will turn off permanently even if you haven't touched it. If I breathe too hard on it, it turns off. I bought this device for my plants and not for me, thank goodness. But if you're looking for something that's reliable and really works without making you want to pull your hair out, pay a little more for something more durable and well-engineered. Save $20 for something better.
