Not self-healing/deep cuts

Not self-healing. I've been using a Fiskars mat for many years and have decided to buy an omnigrid spin mat to go with it.Significantly thicker than fiskars which makes cutting easier BUT useless now as cuts won't heal making even cutting impossible.I've only been using omnigrid for a week or two I have no cuts on my Fiskar mat which I have been using for years Disappointed.

Pros

General 1/2" grid marks for easy alignment 30, 45 and 60 degree marks for corner cuts
