Laptop not working

Everything worked right out of the box and then I immediately ran into a problem where the computer would blue screen and randomly reboot. Hoping it was just a Windows issue, my roommates and I tried to figure it out. Apparently the problem is with the hard drive. I'm trying to get it back now and I'll update the answer. But I'm certainly not happy that I spent so much money on it.
