The perfect purchase for me, exactly what I was looking for!

I first ordered ONYX Volta 2, began to delve into the topic, watch reviews, changed the order to a more advanced ONYX LIVINGSTONE model, continued to read positive and negative reviews and problems of users who bought these models and consider the choice of those who have already bought the above mentioned. Most of them just switched to PaperWhite and Oasis and have no regrets. I canceled the order for LIVINGSTONE, went to Hong Kong and bought a Kindle PaperWhite 2022 8Gb until they became more expensive and kept an adequate rate, the price is 10 with a penny.

Pros

1. There are no scroll buttons, so there is practically nothing to break (competitors have problems with this if you read thematic forums). 2. The screen is not recessed and easy to wipe clean. If it had been recessed, then dirt and dust would have collected, and this is a problem, when cleaning it, you can damage it, scratch it. 3. For 2022, Amazon makes indulgence and disables book recommendations (advertising on the screen in sleep mode), you just need to make a request to the Technical Support chat. On the home screen, recommendations are removed in the settings. 4. Screens by experience are not so fragile, unlike Pocketbooks. People write that they didn’t even drop it and the screen stopped working. 5. A hardwired system, not Android, so the battery consumption is simply negligible (do not forget to set the mode on the plane for even more extension of work). 6. No brakes, hangs. 7. Can swim underwater. 8. The presence of bluetooth for connecting headphones. 9. Availability of WIFI. 10. Lighter screen substrate (pulls on an old paper book) unlike Onyx models. 11. Backlight.

Cons

1. There is no mode for displaying constant readings of the battery, WIFI, etc. (the upper band, like on smartphones), or I did not find it. 2. Covers in stores. The price is wound up and starts from 1000, the most nondescript. I didn’t buy it, I ordered the coolest one on Ali, with a good magnet, tough, for 640, I’m waiting for delivery.
