This saves the cost of dry cleaning items that just need a refresher and is a lot gentler on delicate fabrics than ironing! The steamer was assembled in less than 10 minutes without tools and there is enough water in the tank to steam a full load of laundry. The machine heats up quickly (about a minute) and has enough steam to easily iron a jacket from a suit. Even with a full tank, it glides effortlessly around the room on built-in casters, and the attached clothes hanger has a textured top to keep clothes securely in place and folds away when not in use. The stand height is easily adjustable; The fully extended bracket is at about shoulder height, so that the steamed food is at a comfortable height. It comes with an attachable cloth brush attachment as well as a clever quilting glove to protect the other hand holding the cloth. If I had to suggest improvements, I would say the following: • The hose is a bit stiff; it may soften over time but could use a little more flexibility to allow the steam head to be guided more easily • The hose is long enough to steam clothes on a pole, but I've learned the hard way that it's too short . for steam curtains on the eaves. I wish the hose was longer, or if it were possible to buy a longer hose nozzle for steaming curtains or furniture • The on/off switch is located at the bottom of the unit; it would be more convenient to reach it if it was closer to the top. These are small suggestions that don't detract from the overall usefulness of the Steamship, and I'm a fan of them.
