Works very well and I like the ability to attach it to a clamp or standard tripod. The "temperature" of the light can be more or less controlled by adjusting the amount and brightness of the yellow. and blue LEDs. There is no separate temperature controller and no way to set it to a specific temperature. The plastic body and plastic ferrules feel cheap, but it has survived being tossed in my backpack and dropped off tables a few times. My only complaint is that the controls, five buttons on the USB cable, are confusing. It's not easy to reset it to a specific light setting. The middle button is the power button, two buttons regulate the brightness and two buttons change the color. But the two buttons that change colors also adjust the brightness of colors and switch colors automatically. These are "colored" buttons that make settings confusing. There is no remote control so I had to give this 'feature' a star as I was asked to rate it.
