I was looking for a condenser studio mic and after reading customer reviews and comparing prices I decided the Earamble studio mic was a better choice to go . The price is reasonable and the mic seemed to suit my needs. I also bought a pop screen and a mic hanger. The earamble pop filter meets my expectations and works as advertised. Without them, speaking near the microphone can cause popping due to direct wind or breath getting into the microphone. Using this pop filter prevents unwanted noise, hiss and pops as it prevents wind from blowing directly into the microphone. The filter itself is round and actually consists of two layers of fine-meshed material. It's attached to a gooseneck holder so you can easily adjust it to your liking, and there's a metal screw clip at the end so you can attach it to a desk, desk, or pendant light. The clip is rubberized so you don't damage what you attach it to. I am satisfied with this pop screen and think it is worth buying if you also buy a microphone. The quality of the recording is greatly improved.
