These hair clips are not quite yellow gold like I thought. They look golden but not yellow enough. However, they are made of some type of metal and are durable. They also have a beautiful, unique design that makes them far better than the plastic ones. My wife has been looking for something like this for a long time. Their best feature is their strong grip. Although the claws are not large, the feathers provide a strong hold for these hair clips. My wife has a lot of hair and these clips don't work.
