The waist fit is good but the length is about 34 in L and M.
I tried both medium and large sizes. They both appear to be 34" and that didn't change when I tried the medium size. Medium fits my 33" waist better. The large is too big for a 33" waist and falls with a phone or another heavy item in your bag Overall I kept my pairs but wasn't happy with the length being the only issue.
