Not all functions usable, weak speakers, very dim RGB lighting

Switching to this monitor is stunning at first. Deep blacks on an overall bright monitor and solid colors are good. It was only when I looked more closely that I discovered that most functions can be used, but not at the same time. Very deceptive. To use Freesync you need to disable HDR, and when HDR is enabled many of the expected picture settings are grayed out and not applicable. There are a few other issues like this that I won't explain, but they're annoying nonetheless. As for the speakers, they sound good when they're working properly, they can actually get really loud, but there are times when they start making an awful sound. electronic buzzing/beeping. I have no idea what's causing this, so far it's been very random. At first it sounds like the speaker just exploded, and then it turns into an awfully high-pitched feedback noise. then it stops for a while. Generally not worth it. The RGB on the back is very nice to see, but it's not bright at all and shows up on almost everything. Even in a dark room, it won't be noticeable if you put it next to a wall or something, just look directly at it. Pretty useless. Overall, the monitor looks very sharp and has good picture quality, but nearly all of the features that set it apart from the competition are lackluster at best. It would probably be better with a more well-known brand.
