The braided stainless steel feels solid without being overly flashy, and the couplers are bolted on tight.
I thought the steel mesh would look too shiny or high tech. Sure you can use Pex cord (the whiter one) but braided steel looks unbreakable. Fittings are easy to connect and do not leak. This part makes it very easy to replace an old or leaking supply line. Five-minute swaps come as no surprise. Haven't had any leaks yet. The technology is good for this product. It's good to have a spare because if the old one breaks, you can put the new one on and "walk" again in just a few minutes. You don't need a plumber for this job.
