Excellent performance for a non-contact thermometer. It is superior in every way to what I had available to me at my previous residence. I needed a new thermometer because the electronic ones I had kept running out of battery, and the mercury-based ones kept breaking. In the beginning, I had some reservations about using this kind of thermometer because I had heard that it was not very accurate. However, this is not the case. At least everything is shown in a very qualitative manner by this model. The most important thing is to make sure that you follow the directions to the letter! I am pleased with how quickly the measurement was completed, as well as the fact that I do not worry about breaking or otherwise damaging the thermometer.
