Light blue cream with a strong chemical smell. It is recommended to use it in a bright, ventilated place. I used it on a damaged coin I found on the street trying to determine the year of the coin and proclaim that it was indeed a penny. The buffing did a very good job of removing dirt and enhancing the shine of the penny paint. There was also a very noticeable sheen after use. I didn't have to rub for the polish to work. I just used a basic buff but I let the polish soak into the penny a bit before using a rag to clean, buff and dry. I used a cotton swab and then switched to a rag to do the penny stick better. I recommend using a cloth according to the directions. The paint absorbs better, is easy to polish and shines at the same time. The varnish is not sticky and not dirty, it comes out of the container easily without excess. The lacquer is as thick as toothpaste and is easy to apply to the object to be cleaned. I only used a little cream as it doesn't take that much to work. I've used penny polish a few times to see if I could clean it up a little more, but it wasn't necessary; it was yellow and shiny every time. I have silver bracelets from Bali and will use cream next time.
