I chose this for my elderly parents who use cable ties around the farm and garden. 3. I tried 3 different brands of ties including the expensive Gardner Bender brand on the dowel, all gave the same results, not tight, and each of them had enough tongue to hurt someone. I had to cut them flush with a cutter. As I have to use 2 tools to avoid cutting myself on the zippers I will go back to pliers and wire cutters it will be as quick as these things. You will be returned.
